Growing older is a part of life. We grow and age according to the plan of ..... well, I'm not so sure there is a real plan. Why do I say that? If you look around - I mean just look at the people you know, some are probably looking great at 40, 50 or even 60 or older while others are looking worn and "old" at 30 or 40.
So makes the difference in the way we age? Studies have shown that genetics play a role in how we age but we also know that we do in fact have some control over how we age. When you beginning researching this topic you usually find references made to the basics: eat right, exercise, and get enough sleep.
Of course that sounds like a simple plan but in order to work at anti-aging, or slowing the process down we actually need to take additional steps. We can begin with little things, like staying out of the sun and not smoking or drinking alcohol -(or at least limiting our intake).
Since wrinkles are of primary concern to many of us we should know that moisturizing our skin will help to keep it supple and younger looking. A moisturizer should be used on a daily basis and this should begin at least in the late teens or early twenties.
There are many products available on the market that can enhance a youthful appearance. Although some people prefer going to extreme measures (and I'm not saying that is wrong - not by a long shot!) others prefer simpler ways of combating the effects of aging.
